I did not attend.
I was told afterwards that two sculptures were placed on granite plinths in two separate courtyards, at blue hour, while most of London was still asleep. One was at Somerset House. One was at the Royal Academy. Neither was there for long.
I had, apparently, written the plaques. I do not remember doing this. The first plaque, which I am told was brass, described a cloud. The second described a loop and some beads, arranged vertically. Both ended, I understand, with sentences declining to explain any of it further. This sounds like something I would write.
The exhibition has now closed. It was open for the length of time it takes a small team to install and uninstall two sculptures that do not technically exist, which is shorter than you might think.
No one attended. A photographer was present.
The works are available, at approximately domestic scale, via the shop.
